Yes. Ginger is not only safe, but good for your dog in small doses.  Ginger contains antioxidants that can support dogs with motion sickness, blood circulation, nausea, gastrointestinal problems, & bloat. Ginger is also anti-inflammatory & is known to help reduce pain in dogs with arthritis.

Serving Ideas: Ginger Chew For Dogs

Dogs can eat ginger:

  • In small quantities. Do not give your dog more than 1 teaspoon of raw ginger. If your dog eats too much ginger, he may become gassy, nauseous, or experience heartburn.
  • Sprinkled on top of their dog food.
  • As an ingredient in homemade treats.
  • In commercially available treats such as Whats Barking Ginger Dog Chews.
